Dave Davies says that as long as his former band mates in The Kinks are still alive, there is always a chance for a reunion.

"I'd say there's an outside shot," Davies told reporters, adding that his brother Ray Davies' schedule also impacts the prospects of a reunion.

"Where there's life, there's hope. I know Ray has a lot coming up, and I do as well, so we'll see how things span out in the next few months.

A lot of it depends on how Ray and I feel by the end of the year, physically, emotionally and psychologically.

I wish I could give you a more definitive answer, but I don't want to jump the gun."
