President Anura Kumara Dissanayake stated yesterday (18) in Parliament that construction work at the disputed temple land in Trincomalee can proceed once the court issues an order to demarcate the property.

The President made the remarks while participating in the expenditure head debate for the Ministries of Defence and Public Security.

President Dissanayake added that a report has also been requested from the Secretary to the Ministry of Public Security regarding the incident in Trincomalee
