Emirates will introduce Starlink-powered Wi-Fi across its entire in-service fleet FREE, starting with Boeing 777 aircraft in November 2025 and completing the rollout by mid-2027. The complimentary, ultra-high-speed service will deliver ground-quality internet at cruising altitude, strengthening the airline’s reputation for industry-leading inflight connectivity.
With Starlink, passengers will be able to stream content, game, make calls, work, and browse social media on both seatback screens and personal devices. The system enables simultaneous connectivity across all cabin classes, offering a seamless inflight digital experience.
Emirates plans to equip all 232 aircraft in operation over the next two years. Around 14 aircraft per month will be retrofitted, with work on the Airbus A380 fleet set to begin in February 2026.
Each Boeing 777 will be fitted with two antennae, while the Airbus A380 will feature an industry-first three-antenna configuration, enabling maximum connectivity, capacity, and coverage across all cabins.
The Starlink service will be free for all passengers, with simple one-click access and no requirement for payment or Skywards membership.
“We’re introducing the world’s fastest Wi-Fi, elevating what passengers can expect from inflight uninterrupted connection to their digital lives,” said Sir Tim Clark, President of Emirates Airline
