The 2025 GCE Advanced Level Examination commenced this morning (10) at 8:30 AM.

The Department of Examinations had instructed candidates to arrive at the examination centres at least 30 minutes before the starting time.

According to Hiru regional correspondents, applicants attended the centres with great enthusiasm.

The examination will be held from today, November 10, until December 05.

The exam will be conducted at 2,362 examination centres across the island.

A total of 340,525 candidates are scheduled to sit for the exam this year, including 246,521 school applicants.
