Australian police say they have found a man's body in their search for missing British man Aslan King.

The body is yet to be formally identified but police say they believe it is Mr King, who has been missing in the state of Victoria since Saturday.

Mr King, 25, disappeared after suffering a suspected seizure during a camping trip near the town of Princetown.

An illustrator from Brighton, he relocated to Australia two weeks ago.

Victoria Police said the body was found on Tuesday in a creek near a camping ground where Mr King was last seen.

Earlier this week, authorities said Mr King had been with four friends when he hit his head on the ground about 02:00 local time on Saturday (15:00 GMT Friday) and suffered a "medical episode".

Mr King had then suddenly run into surrounding bushland and may have been "disoriented and become lost", they added.

Search crews had scoured the site, located near the Twelve Apostles coastal tourist site, since Sunday.

Officers said the search was difficult because of the thick vegetation, rocky clifftops and deep coastal waters in the region.

A report will be prepared for the coroner, police said.
