The Beckhams appeared relaxed and cheery as they were were spotted out and about in London for a family dinner this weekend.

Retired football legend David was spotted hugging his son Romeo and kissing his head as they were seen leaving China Tang in the centre of the UK capital following a meal with their nearest and dearest.

Romeo and the gang were out to celebrate Brooklyn's birthday - which was on March 4 - while their siblings Cruz and Harper were also seen after the meal.

Proud dad David was dressed in his usual effortlessly cool and stylish fashion, with a trademark flat cap worn as they left the restaurant.

Becks' wife Victoria also stepped out in a white ensemble, looking relaxed as she stepped into the night air on Saturday evening.

She had returned from an overnight stay in Paris with Brooklyn as his 18th birthday celebrations continued.

To celebrate Brooklyn's birthday, David shared a suitably emotional and embarrassing message, writing: "From day one he never slept through the night the only way he would fall asleep is when I took him out in the car and it had to be BoyZone on the radio and he would drop right off....

“Thank fully he now sleeps the whole night without needing a song ...
