Many one-of-a-kind items associated with some of the biggest rock and roll legends will soon be up for auction.

The upcoming Sotheby sale, titled "A Rock & Roll Anthology: From Folk to Fury" is scheduled for December 10.

Some of the items featured in the auction will be memorabilia from the Beatles, David Bowie and the Eagles.

The piano which John Lennon penned several songs from the Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band album will be up for auction.

Also, Bowie's Glass Spider tour stage outfit as well as the Eagles' "Hotel California" handwritten manuscript will be up for auction.

Many more items from various groups and even music venues will be on the auction block.

An exhibition will begin on December 1 and run through the 9th, followed by the auction on December 10.
