Elvis Presley is soon to have music inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame.

His 1957 hit single "Jailhouse Rock" will be immortalized at the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles.

A selection of 25 songs will make the cut for the 2017 inductions. This will bring the collection to a total of 1,038 songs.

Other songs to be included will be Merle Haggard's "Okie From Muskogee," Prince's "Sign 'O' the Times" and N.W.A.'s "Straight Outta Compton."

President and CEO Neil Portnow said in a press release, "The Grammy Hall of Fame represents all genres of music, acknowledging the diversity of musical expression for which the Academy has become renowned.

Memorable and inspiring, these recordings are proudly added to our growing catalog and are an integral part of our musical, social and cultural history."
