Rolling Stone has released its 50 Best Albums Of 2016 list and the top spot was taken by Beyoncé.

Her album, Lemonade, was followed by David Bowie's final album, Blackstar.

Blackstar was the twenty fifth studio album from Bowie.

The album was released just two days before the music icon died from liver cancer.

It became the only Bowie album to reach the top spot on the Billboard 200 in the United States.

Coloring Book by Chance the Rapper took the third spot on the list, followed by Car Seat Headrest by Teens Of Denial.

Blonde by Frank Ocean took number five, followed by Radiohead's A Moon Shaped Pool and Blue & Lonesome by the Rolling Stones.

Kanye West's The Life Of Pablo came in at number eight, followed by Leonard Cohen's You Want It Darker and Young Thug's Jeffery.
