Jer Bulsara, the mother of late Queen frontman Freddie Mercury, passed away over the weekend.

She died peacefully in her sleep at the age of 94. Her passing comes just a few days ahead of the 25th anniversary of the death of her son.

Following the death of their son, Jer Bulsara and her husband Bomi moved from London in order to be closer to their daughter Kashmira. Her husband Bomi passed away in 2003.

Mrs. Bulsara will receive a Zoroastrian funeral ceremony, in keeping with her Parsee religion. The funeral service will remain a private affair.

Mercury died on November 24, 1991. He died of bronchial pneumonia resulting from AIDS. His funeral service, which was held on November 27, 1991, was conducted by a Zoroastrian priestess.
