Stevie Wonder made an appearance on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert on November 7, the day before the 2016 U.S. presidential election.

Wonder sought to reassure the American public with a performance of the song "Don't You Worry 'Bout A Thing."

Wonder was backed by the house band Stay Human and its leader Jon Batiste.

Wonder was a vocal supporter of Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton leading up to the election.

During the interview portion of the show, Wonder stated, "I believe in my mother, I believe in this woman, that's all I can tell you," in reference to Clinton.

Wonder encouraged the audience to get out and vote on Election Day.

He later performed a rendition of "Love's In Need Of Love."

He and Batiste capped things off with a rendition of "The Star-Spangled Banner" performed with only harmonica and melodica.
