Pink Floyd's "Vegetable Man," one of the earliest known songs the band ever recorded, will appear on the bands The Early Years 1965-1972 box set. The song was originally recorded in 1965.

The Early Years 1965-1972 contains 27 discs, from the release of the "Arnold Layne" single to Obscured by Clouds and their history-making Pompeii concert.

The set features 20 unreleased songs, seven hours of live audio and more than five hours of rare concert video.

"Vegetable Man" can be found on the sets' first disc, from the collection called Cambridge St/ation, which covers Syd Barrett's time in the band and goes from their pre-EMI demos to a 1967 concert performed in Stockholm.

The Early Years 1965-1972 will be released on November 11.

The song "Childhood's End" and a video of Pink Floyd performing "Grantchester Meadows" for the BBC have previously been released from the box set.
