The Rolling Stones played a private concert at Gillette Stadium on October 25 for New England Patriots owner Bob Kraft and about 300 of his friends and business associates.
Among those in attendance were Secretary of State John Kerry and Tommy Hilfiger.
The Boston Globe reported that invited guests received a package in the mail that contained a small white rock.
The words "Gillette Stadium Tuesday Evening October 25, 2016.
Very Special Live Performance by The Rolling Stones" were printed on the rocks.
The Rolling Stones are expected to release their new album Blue & Lonesome in December.
The album will be the band's twenty fifth U.S. release and will be their first album that will be entirely made up of cover songs.
The band's previous studio effort was A Bigger Bang, which was released in September 2005.
