Elton John has teamed up with fashion retailer Burberry to produce a new vinyl box set.

The box set is a collection of John's material from 1970-2001.

The set will appear as a limited edition with only 800 being pressed.

Each copy will be individually numbered and contain John's signature emblazoned on the cover.

The box set will contain six albums all remastered from the original tapes at Abbey Road Studios.

The vinyl will be 180 gram and will have reproductions of the original artwork.

In a press release John said, "I'm really thrilled to see these albums reintroduced in such stylish form.

Choosing these six wasn't easy; however, I think they are a very good representation of my catalog between 1970 and 2001.

It's been a pleasure as always to work with Burberry and in particular Christopher Bailey - a dear friend."

The package will be available next month and will retail for $375.
