The band that has seemingly played everywhere and done everything are preparing for a first. Foreigner will be making their debut appearance at Carnegie Hall later this month.

They will be performing a show called "The Hits Unplugged" on October 25.


A press release for the upcoming show listed a few milestones the band has yet to achieve.

The press release promised a night of "validation of sorts for the wildly successful group that continues to outsell music and tours of its contemporaries, yet for which traditional benchmarks like a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction, Rolling Stone cover or a Grammy remain elusive."

This concert date marks the band's 40th anniversary tour date.

The show also coincides with the tour the band has been doing in support of their latest effort, In Concert: Unplugged.
