Paul Simon Releases Preview Of ACL Performance

Paul Simon gave fans a sneak peek into his latest televised performance.

The musician and vocalist performed two tracks off of Graceland to preview his appearance on the long running PBS series, Austin City Limits.

His classic hit "You Can Call Me Al" was played along with a zydeco rendition of "That Was Your Mother."

The 42nd season of the PBS program kicks off on Saturday, October 1. Simon's performance will include eleven tracks showcasing his prolific career.

Simon and Garfunkel classic "The Sound of Silence" is on the set list, along with classics from Simon's solo career including "Diamonds on the Soles of her Shoes" and "Me and Julio Down By The Schoolyard."

"Wristbands," a newer single off of Simon's solo record Stranger to Stranger will also be performed.

This season of Austin City Limits will feature sets from celebrated artists such as Robert Plant on October 15, and Florence + The Machine and Andra Day on October 22.

There will also be an episode highlighting the Americana Music Festival 2016 which will air on November 19.
