The top earning TV actor of 2016 is your very own Sheldon! Oh sorry, we mean Jim Parsons from Big Bang Theory.

He brought in a whopping $25.5 million, claiming the No. 1 spot yet again.

While the reveal may initially surprise you, it's actually not that crazy considering the pay-day the actors of this show have contracted for their recent season (an alarming $1 million per episode).

For this reason, his co-stars help him round out the top five.

Johnny Galecki snagged the No. 2 spot with $24 million, Simon Helberg came in third with $22.5 million, and KunalNayyar is No. 4 with $22 million.

We break out of the Big Bang when it comes to the fifth TV actor who brought in the most money—Mark Harmon of NCIS with $20 million.
