David Bowie's death shocked the world. The singer had just released his monumental album Black Starjust days before his death.

Now music writer Lesley-Ann Jones asserts that Bowie may have had a hand in his own death.

Jones, thinks the release of the hugely successful Black Star album and Bowie's death days later may have been linked.

Jones states, "Two singles released so closely together, the biggest album of his career launched on his 69th birthday, and then, two days later, he dies.

I don't know about you, but I can't see that as coincidental."

Outside of speculation, Jones has offered no factual evidence to support this claim.

Furthermore, as of yet, no official investigation has been opened in regards to Bowie's death.
