Steven Tyler and Kate Hudson shared a flight recently as the actress was on her way home from the Toronto International Film Festival.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, Hudson captured the moment on social media via a cute selfie.

"We make our own sunshine," Hudson wrote in the caption to their epic airplane selfie.

"Best plane run in ever! Love you Papa Steven."

The special run-in comes on the heels of Hudson's recent hang session with Tyler's daughter Liv, a moment that Hudson also captured via a selfie.

"Got to catch up with this beauty in the city," Hudson wrote.

Hudson was in Toronto at the festival promoting her new film Deepwater Horizon, her first on-screen experience with her father Kurt Russell.

The film is based on the real-life 2010 explosion aboard the Deepwater Horizon oil rig, which led to the deaths of eleven crew members and resulted in a catastrophic oil spill off the Gulf Of Mexico.
