The Beach Boys have released a reissue of their 1966 song Good Vibrations to celebrate the 50th anniversary of its original recording, according to a press release.

This particular reissue comes on a 12-inch commemorative sunburst vinyl EP.

The original recording was recorded at four different Hollywood recording studios between February and September 1966.

After its release musician's critics and fans were stunned by its groundbreaking nature.

MOJO magazine dubbed the track the "Greatest Single of All Time."

The Good Vibrations 50th anniversary edition EP features the original 7" single version, an alternate studio take, an edit of the song with elements from various sessions, an instrumental, and a live version from a Honolulu rehearsal in August, 1967.

The reissued EP is due out on October 7.
