A tribute show in honor of Malcolm John "Mac" Rebennack, who is affectionately known as Dr. John, is being put out on a two-CD/DVD and Blu-ray set.

Fans have been given a sneak preview of the package with a John Fogerty performance.


Fogerty and his backing band do their rendition of Dr. John's classic song, "New Orleans."

Throughout Fogerty's career—in the early days of Credence Clearwater Revival, he has been known to cover both classic and obscure rhythm and blues songs, with a particular fondness for music from New Orleans.

The show was recorded in 2014.

The package is slated for release October 14. Other artists featured will include, Mavis Staples, Dave Malone, Jason Isbell and over a dozen more.
