Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band gave his hometown fans a bang for their buck at two recent shows. The Boss played his two longest stateside performances on August 23 and 25.

The two shows both took place in East Rutherford, New Jersey at the MetLife Stadium.

The August 23 show broke his personal record for the longest U.S. show clocking in at three hours and 52 minutes.

Then two nights later on August 25, the band played for four hours.

His longest show to date was on July 31, 2012 in Helsinki, Finland, which was four hours and five minutes.

Springsteen and the band had just returned from a European tour to play a string of gigs back home in America.

The tour will wrap up on September 14 in Massachusetts.
