Aretha Franklin was forced to cancel a few of her concerts due to "doctor's orders."

At the moment at least five shows have been canceled, including August 26 performance at the Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts in Vienna, Virginia.

Additional shows canceled include a pair of Radio City Music Hall shows, the Tony Bennett Celebrates 90 show on September 15, her solo concert on September 23, and October concerts in Detroit and St. Louis.

As of right now Franklin is due to take the stage again in November, specifically for her gig in Welch, Minnesota on November 11 followed by a show in Chicago.

This is the first time that Franklin has canceled shows due to health reasons since August 2015.
