Joe Perry's backstage collapse at a recent Hollywood Vampires concert was due to dehydration and exhaustion, according to reps for the guitar player.

The band was set to play in Brooklyn earlier this month when the star collapsed and was rushed to the Coney Island Medical Center.


At the time Perry's camp released no statement on the reason for the collapse.

Steven Tyler was more than willing to offer his opinion on the possible reason for the collapse, noting:

"I think he's out there and someone's overbooking him," the singer said last week.

"They're doing like eight or nine shows in a row, or five in a row.

I think they're all a little burnt. I think they may need to look at that.

Not young anymore, you know?"
