Lynyrd Skynyrd were forced to cancel their show in Lewiston, New York after guitarist Gary Rossington began feeling chest pains, according to Ultimate Classic Rock.
The band released a statement to Twitter explaining the situation.
"Lynyrd Skynyrd's performance at Artpark in Lewiston, NY on July 19th has been cancelled.
We hope to reschedule the show in the near future.
Founding member and guitar player, Gary Rossington, is seeking doctor's evaluation in Atlanta after experiencing some chest pains.
Lynyrd Skynyrd will resume their tour once Gary is cleared by medical professionals.
We will advise as soon as we have additional information."
Rossington previously suffered a heart attack last October, which led to the band canceling five shows in 2015.
Depending on the guitarist's condition, the band may have to cancel additional shows.
