Cher recently called out Boris Johnson, dubbing him a "f*****g idiot."

Johnson, one of the leaders of the Brexit campaign, was made foreign secretary in Prime Minister Theresa May's new cabinet on Wednesday, July 13. He has replaced Philip Hammond.

In response to this change, NME reporter Nick Reilly tweeted: "What do you think of Boris Johnson as foreign secretary?"

"Think he's a f-ing idiot," Cher replied in a Twitter post. "Who lied to the British ppl & didn't have the balls 2 lead then once "LEAVE" vote won."

After another Twitter user asked Cher if she would ever consider running to be a leader of the Labour party, she responded with, "UK has a special place in my heart. Lived there 2Xs in my life & love Brits. However . . . Boris & Nigel are definite tossers."
