Aerosmith's Steven Tyler stopped by the Best of New Hampshire Awards party Thursday night at the Northeast Delta Dental Stadium in Manchester, according to WMUR Channel 9.


The frontman, who is from New Hampshire, jammed with musicians in the Hardtacks for some impromptu folk music.


"Was that Steven Tyler?" joked Marek Bennett of the Hardtacks. "No, I figured out it was him partway through.


It's great. That's what this music's all about. It's a participatory experience in history."


"I mean, it's something special," said partygoer Christopher Baglieri.


"You don't really get to see that, in his element, in his hometown. It's nice to see."


All proceeds from the event and donations given went toward the New Hampshire Food Bank.


Tyler was one of the partygoers who made a donation.
