David Bowie's film Absolute Beginners is set for the reissue treatment in honor of its 30th Anniversary.

The new edition will feature an hour-long documentary about the film as well as interview with Julien Temple and producers Stephen Wooley and Nik Powell.

Bowie has been in the news steadily since his passing this year and his son Duncan Jones says that he feels fortunate to have had the chance to say his goodbyes before his father passed away.

"I'm OK, I'm good. I was very fortunate, we got a chance to say our goodbyes.

It's a weird one for me, I don't really know how to talk about it or what to say about it - other than the fact that we got a chance to say our goodbyes," he said on the Nerdist podcast.

"Weird things make me miss him, but it's still early days. I'm sure I always will, but it's tricky.

He was a big gravitational pull in my life as far as who I saw myself as. How I separated myself from the world and how I saw myself."
