Rolling Stone's Ronnie Wood and his wife Sally Humphreys have welcome twin girls on Monday night.

These are the first children for the 68-year-old guitarist and his 38-year-old wife, who were married back in 2012.

"He can't wait to be a dad again, and doesn't think his age is a problem at all. He still feels very young and fit," a source previously told the British tabloid.

"Ever since marrying Sally it had always been a possibility for them. They never ruled it out."

On May 15 Wood tweeted in anticipation of the birth of his two daughters, writing, "I'm getting excited about the arrival of my twin girls sometime in the next few weeks."
