Styx's Tommy Shaw recently sang a stripped-down version of Queen's "Fat Bottomed Girls" during a recent visit to Cleveland.

He sat down with the "newgrass" trio Honey bucket and played the tune.

Shaw claps along as the band plays the song on mandolin, acoustic guitar and upright bass. Video of the cover is streaming online.

The reason he had been in the city was to rehearse for his performance with the city's Contemporary Youth Orchestra, which took place on Friday, May 27. The show marked his first solo orchestra performance ever.

At the show he performed the Styx songs "Fooling Yourself The Angry Young Man," "Renegade," "Boat on the River" and "Too Much Time on My Hands," his solo tune "Girls With Guns," Shaw-Blades' "The Night Goes On" and Damn Yankees' "High Enough."
