Billy Joel has spoken up about Donald Trump's campaign, claiming he thinks it's "very entertaining."

The Piano Man recently dedicated his song "The Entertainer" to Trump at his Madison Square Garden concert in New York on Friday.

Trump thanked Joel for the nod by tweeting, "Thank you @BillyJoel many friends just told me you gave a very kind shout out at MSG. Appreciate it- love your music!"

Once Trump posted the tweet several of Joel's fans speculated that the dedication may have been meant as a joke.

"I'm in the entertainment business. Donald Trump's campaign has been very entertaining," Joel told TIME in an email on Saturday.

"Aside from that, who cares about the political opinions of a piano player?"
