A former girlfriend of Bob Dylan's has released a memoir detailing her days with the rock legend.

The woman, named Britta Lee Shain, has shared various anecdotes about their love affair in her new book, titled "Seeing the Real You at Last."

In one passage she remembers Dylan kicking off a food fight one evening.

"Bob swoops up a large slice of cake, circles the table, then plasters the gooey dessert in my face," writes Shain in "Seeing the Real You at Last."

Later, after she returns fire, Dylan "picks up the champagne bottle and pours it over my head."

Shain had previously dated Dylan's tour manager before the star swooped in and stole her away.
