Mick Jagger has offered up his remembrance of his late girlfriend L'Wren Scott on the anniversary of her 52nd birthday.

He shared a tribute to Scott via Instagram, sharing a photo of the stylist and designer in front of a desert sunset and noting "remembering L'Wren on her birthday."

She was found dead in her New York City apartment on March 17 and her death was later ruled a suicide by the medical examiner.

Jagger hit Facebook immediately following her death writing, "I'm still struggling to understand how my lover and best friend could end her life in this tragic way.

We spent many wonderful years together and had made a great life for ourselves. I will never forget her."
