David Gilmour paid his respects to the late Prince with a unique tribute that saw him perform a mashup of Prince's music and Pink Floyd.
While performing at London's Royal Albert Hall, Gilmour combined Pink Floyd's "Comfortably Numb" with Prince's timeless "Purple Rain."
About midway through the Floyd classic, the stage lights turned purple as Gilmour's backing singers begin to replicate the unspoken outro vocals from "Purple Rain."
Gilmour puts his own guitar spin on the track, before the stage lights switch back to red and gold and Gilmour continues on with "Comfortable Numb."
He joins scores of musicians who have paid tribute to Prince since the legend's death at age 57.
An autopsy has been performed to determine the cause of death, but officials say it could be weeks before the results are known.
