Steven Tyler is the latest celebrity to mourn the death of Prince.

The 57-year-old icon was found dead in the elevator of his Paisley Park home in Minnesota on April 21.

So far the cause of Prince's death is unknown, but several are speculating that drugs may have been a factor in his demise.

"I've certainly had my moments of crying about him," Tyler says in an exclusive interview with People. "He was a saint.

He was a musician and he spoke my language so it's a little harder to take."

He adds, "I would love to just tell you I'm crying because we're going to miss him and his music, but I think it's deeper than that."

Tyler also shared that his was unaware Prince faced a health scare prior to his death.

"I had no idea that he was taken to the hospital reportedly because he took too much of something," says Tyler.

"You know I am very aware of taking too much of something. It got me in rehab many, many times."
