The Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney, Roger Waters, the Who, Bob Dylan and Neil Young are among the classic rock legends rumored to perform at a newly forming festival.

Scheduled for October, will go down at the Empire Polo Grounds in Indio, California - the same site where Coachella takes place.

"It's so special in so many ways because you won't get a chance to see a bill like this, perhaps ever again," said Elliot Roberts, Young's longtime manager.

"It's a show I look forward to more than any show in a long time."

The Times reports that the three day fest is being "organized by Golden voice, the Los Angeles-based promoter that is a unit of AEG Live, according to people with knowledge of the plans."

The paper adds that "plans are nearly complete" and an announcement is expected soon.
