Peter Frampton and Gregg Allman have announced a short co-headlining tour for this summer.

The legendary duo is set to get things underway July 19 in Cincinnati, Ohio, before making stops in Indianapolis, Indiana and Raleigh, North Carolina.

The brief stint is tentatively set to wrap July 26 in Charlotte, North Carolina.

"I've been a huge Gregg Allman fan since first hearing the Brothers' live Fillmore album.

So this is going be a dream tour," said Frampton in a news release.

"I've had the honor of sitting in with the Allmans at their Beacon shows a couple of times and it just doesn't get better than that."
