The upcoming David Bowie tribute concert - featuring the Pixies and Blondie among many others - will be streamed live.

The show happens at New York City's Radio City Music Hall on April 1.

Other artists taking part include Michael Stipe, Flaming Lips, Patti Smith, Laurie Anderson, Cat Power and more.

Organizers have set up a Skype stream for the event, asking for donations which will go toward a handful of music and art charities.

"Due to unprecedented interest in the David Bowie memorial concert in Radio City, we have teamed up with Skype and Ammado to stream the concert around the world, in return for a small donation to our charity partners," say organizers.

"We suggest a minimum donation equivalent to $20, or £15."
