Carlos Santana hit the stage earlier this week to play a warm-up gig in Las Vegas.

The show rolled out some of the material fans can expect from the band on their new release Santana IV, which brings his classic band from the 1970s back together.

The show took place at the Madalay Bay on March 21 and saw the group take on many of their classics including "Oye Como Va" and "Evil Ways."

The guitarist recently opened up about the making of his album Santana IVand hit Twitter to speak on the release, which brought back together his band's classic lineup for the first time since 1971.

"It just felt like it was the right time for us to partake in this chemistry that Santana has," Santana revealed.

The lead single from the release will be "Love Makez the World Go Round," featuring lead vocals by Ron Isley.
