The Eagles's Joe Walsh and Dan Auerbach of the Black Keys hooked up with former James Gang guitarist Glenn Schwartz at Nashville club Robert's Western World on February 27.

Auerbach was on hand at Robert's Western World with his side project the Arcs, prompting the all star jam fest.

Schwartz and Walsh were both in the James Gang, although at different times. Schwartz left the Gang in 1967 and moved to California to join the L.A. band Pacific Gas & Electric.

He later hooked up with a cult called the Church of the Risen Christ and played in the cult's band, the All Saved Freak Band.

"He does insane stuff — his personality comes through in his guitar-playing. No fences.

Totally unrestrained," Auerbach told Scene magazine in 2004.
