Elton John has become the latest artist to join Late Late Show host James Corden for a round of Carpool Karaoke.

In-between rousing renditions of "Your Song," "Don't Let the Sun Go Down on Me" and "Tiny Dancer," the two donned feathery boas and kooky sunglasses for "Crocodile Rock," with John explaining he wears flamboyant outfits on stage because "I was never a lead vocalist.

Not like Bowie or Jagger. I was playing the piano . . . I wasn't a sex symbol, and so I had fun with my outfits. And I just went with it."

John also revealed that he buys four copies of every album he purchases ("One for the house here, one for the house in France, one for the house in England, one for the place in Atlanta") and that he doesn't own a phone.
