After the cancellation of a concert at New York City's Madison Square Garden, Bruce Springsteen has released a free download of his performance at his January 19 Chicago date.

Springsteen is currently on his River tour in support of the release of his latest box set, The Ties That Bind: The River Collection.

His NYC was postponed due to the recent east coast blizzard.

Noting the "a Tri-state travel ban and safety concerns from severe weather," a band rep said, "There is not an immediate date available for reschedule, but more information will be coming shortly."

A notice on the band's website announced the free download. "Out here on E Street, we're missing our fans at The Garden tonight, and wanted to send this along."
