Aerosmith's Steven Tyler has filmed an ad for candy maker Skittles.

According to reporters, it's the first time Skittles has hired a celeb for its long running Taste the Rainbow campaign.

"As a show of appreciation, the brand created a custom, one-of-a-kind Skittles covered microphone for Steven, so he can rock on with the rainbow leading up to the Super Bowl and beyond," noted a rep for the brand.

Skittles shared an image of Tyler that's "relevant to the ad," the rep added.

The Skittles ad airs during the Super Bowl on February 7.

Later in the month, Tyler's performance on the PBS series Front and Center will air.

The footage was taken during Tyler's acoustic set at the Melrose Ballroom in Long Island City, New York on September 10.

The episode airs on PBS the week of February 29.
