Elvis Presley would have been 81 this coming January and an auction is scheduled to celebrate the anniversary of the King's birth.

On January 7, Elvis' famed home Graceland will see an auction of 126 pieces of memorabilia.

Items include the guitar Elvis played during his 1973 "Aloha from Hawaii" concert.

The instrument - a Gibson Ebony Dove guitar - has an estimated value between $300,000 and $500,000.

The auction will be followed on January 8, the King's birthday, with a ceremony at Graceland. Speakers include June Juanico, a former girlfriend of Elvis.

A cake-cutting will also be in store at the event.
