Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band have announced a North American tour in support of their recently released box set The Ties That Bind: The River Collection.

According to Billboard, the River Tour will be accompanied by a special promotional offer.

"Each night of the River tour will be mixed for release on Live.BruceSpringsteen.net as high-quality downloads and CDs.

Recordings will be available within days of each performance."

The trek kicks off at Pittsburgh's Consol Energy Center on January 16.
