Ringo Starr is selling off a lot of personal belongings during a December 4-5 auction at Julien's in Beverly Hills.

The collection, titled "The Property from the Collection of Ringo Star and Barbara Bach," features Starr's 1963 Ludwig Oyster Black Pearl three-piece drum kit, as well as a 1966 325FG Rose-Morris model Rickenbacker owned by John Lennon.

The drum kit is expected to fetch roughly $400,000, while the guitar's estimated value is roughly $700,000. Lennon gave the guitar to Starr following the Beatlesrun of Christmas shows in 1964-65.

Another big ticket item is Starr's original U.K. pressing of the White Album, stamped No. 0000001. The LP is expected to sell for around $50,000.

Proceeds from the auction go to the Lotus Foundation, which Starr and his wifeBarbara Bach founded in order to "fund, support, participate in and promote charitable projects aimed at advancing social welfare in diverse areas."
