Classic albums from Bruce Springsteen, Fleetwood Mac and Def Leppard have been named to Billboard's Top 200 Greatest Albums of All-Time.

Springsteen's Born In the U.S.A. placed at No. 5, while Fleetwood Mac's Rumours placed at No. 15.

Hysteria from Def Leppard took number 25. Adele's 21 comes in at No. 1, while The Sound of Music soundtrack (No. 2), Michael Jackson's Thriller (No. 3) and Taylor Swift's Fearless (No. 4) round out the top five.

Other classic rock records on the list include Bon Jovi's Slippery When Wet (No. 33), Peter Frampton's Frampton Comes Alive, Elton John's Goodbye Yellow Brick Road, and Metallica's self-titled "Black Album."

To craft the list, Billboard assigned different emphases to various sales periods and assigning greater point values the higher up an album moved on the chart.
