A video mash-up of Adele's new hit "Hello" with Lionel Richie's single of the same name recently went viral, prompting comment from Richie.

The legend hit Instagram to post a screengrab from the mash-up, adding the caption, "HELLO @adele is it me you're looking for . . . #hello."

Last week, Adele said on BBC Radio 1 that "We've definitely got to do something, me and Lionel."

The new vid from the U.K. superstar sees the her fixing tea while reminiscing on her ex, who is played by Mack Wilds.

"So hello from the other side I must have called a thousand times To tell you I'm sorry for everything that I've done," she sings.
