Elton John and husband David Furnish have shelled out $33 million to purchase a mansion in Beverly Hills.

Variety writes that the three-story "Mediterranean villa" covers almost 25,000 square feet and includes an elevator, nine fireplaces, an 11-car underground garage, formal dining and living rooms, a screening room, wine cellar, gym, "mosaic tiled" pool, and an outdoor kitchen.

The mansion, built in 2001, also holds seven bedrooms plus three en suite "staff bedrooms," a library, and a game room.

The property has been on-and-off the market over the past several years, popping up first in 2011 with a $63-million price tag, then again in 2013 asking $54.5 million.

The listing agent for the property told the LA Times that those prices included more land around the property; the reported parcel size was nearly 20 acres. Most recently it was listed for $37.9 million.

The happy couple paid just $32.67 million for the place.
