Journey drummer Dean Castronovo has been sentenced to four years of probation following a pair of arrests.
He was first arrested on assault, rape and sexual abuse charges and then again for violating a no-contact order with the woman involved in the incident.
In a guilty plea, Castronovo copped to two counts of fourth degree assault constituting domestic violence, two counts of menacing constituting domestic violence, unlawful use of a weapon and coercion, and, in exchange, had the other charges dropped.
Castronovo must also undergo domestic violence and drug counseling. He faces over five years of prison if he violates the probation.
In 2012, Castronovo was charged with assault, harassment, coercion and second-degree criminal mischief in an incident with a previous girlfriend.
Journey replaced Castronovo with Omar Hakim for their summer tour this year.
